I see 3 J seats for HKG-TPE-SFO on China Airlines. They show up on Delta and Korean Air (individual segments) but they dont show on FlyingBlue. I called FB and the agent didnt see it either. Am I missing something? I want to see if it’s somewhat an okay value for the miles, as I dont have enough miles with Delta/Amex to book.

If you can see it on BOTH delta and korean air, you could try asking the agent to look for a flight in a certain award space class. This is where expertflyer or some similiar tool would be helpful to find what class and how many awards are available (just sign up for a 7 day trial if you haven’t already). Then, you can try and ask the agent to long sell the ticket, it might take a couple tries to find the right agent able to do this. This is similar to how Lucky booked the Kenya Airways business class fare.
