Cash with Points for Flights

Cash with Points for Flights

Hi Lucky! And everyone in the community,

I may have missed this from before or just couldn’t find it, I was wondering what your advice is on paying for flights with a combination of cash and points as offered by for example Qantas; is it worth it? . Basically it’s not the one where we pay fully with Points and just pay the surcharges with cash; rather we pay almost full price and use the points to bring the price down?

    Thanks!

Depends on how much cash you save for the number of points used. However, it’s usually not a great value.

Can you be a bit more specific?
