business class travel to Amsterdam

Hi Tiffany,
We met at the Chicago Seminars. You mentioned an openness to help folks find rewards. I am looking for the best way to book award business class travel to Amsterdam in April 2017. Points/miles to use most to least Ultimate Rewards (>150k), AAdvanrage miles (>100k), Delta SkyMiles (>100k), SPG (>50k). I am not on twitter and would prefer email [email protected]
Thanks so much!! Hi Ben! Be great to meet you one day. Great bolg!

Hi,
Sorry, forgot to mention available Alaska Miles (>100K) on my previous question RE: award space business class RT Amsterdam. Also forgot to mention I am starting in ABQ.
Thanks again!
Wylie

KLM and Delta both serve Amsterdam from quite a few cities in the US. If you can find award space on Delta or KLM, I would transfer points to Korean Air to book – 80k per person round trip in business class. You might not find saver Delta award space from ABQ to the international gateway, in which case you should buy a separate ticket for it and give yourself enough time for the connection. You may also find space on Air France though that requires a connection in Paris.

You can use Delta’s or Air France’s search tools to find award space – search segment by segment and piece it together before calling!

Hi Wylie, and great meeting you as well!

So in general, you want to find the combination of the best routing, at the best price. I would start with these posts:

and

In order to find actual flights with availability, there are several tools you can use:

As @David W mentioned, looking for space on Delta or KLM would obviously be a great start, especially as those Korean awards are such a great value. ABQ can be a tough airport though, so I’d be prepared to organize a separate ticket to a nearby hub.

Hope that gets you started, and we are here to help as you have more questions!
