I am going to buy 90000 American miles before their sale ends to fly from SYD-SIN in First Class but I have check the fuel surcharges and was expecting a hefty 500 AUD but it was only 150 AUD compared to what everyone was talking about it doesnt seem like a really big deal.

Has BA Lowered the surcharges overnight or is AA.com having false info

AA.com will show you the surcharges that AA will charge. BA charges different amounts. You’re best off looking at the BA chart for BA surcharges.

Australian: I was looking online for a random date pair and I see USD 372 in surcharges. Where are you checking?

ITA will usually show you the surcharges. For BA, these actually seem halfway reasonable.

@Australian — Indeed, surcharges are also lower in general in Asia, so that sounds right to me.
