Booking Business ATL-BKK & Having algorithm troubles

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi Ben-

Booking a one way ticket from ATL-BKK for next October on Delta. I want 2 business class seats, but no matter WHAT date i choose next october 2016. Delta says it only has “1 seat left at this price”. I want to travel with my companion, and am wondering: Will it work for me to go ahead and buy the ticket I want, and hope that Delta will release another ticket later for me to then purchase? Is that rare?

Thanks for any input you have. I am a platinum medallion on Delta and hope to use those points I’ve earned over the years, but I want to book for 2!

    Thank you!

Mollie DL Plats get free redeposits on award tickets so I would go ahead and book in that case and see what happens. Hard to predict what will happen in the future with any certainty.

Hey Mollie! My guess is that there is one seat at that price, and a second seat at a higher tier. Have you looked at what the pricing options are if you search for two?

Keep in mind as well that Korean Air only releases one seat to partners nowadays, so if you’re looking at KE flights that’s likely the issue.
