Best UR transfer option

Best UR transfer option

A friend is looking to book a premium award from ord-kul. I told him about cx, but I think he’ll only have enough AA miles for a one way flight. But he does enough UR for the other way. Found some decent options in business, just looking for the best transfer partner to book it. Looking at ORD-NRT-KUL or return. Singapore, United or another recommendation? He should probably have around 90k in the next month or two to book it.

Hmmm, either you can look at transferring to KrisFlyer, and book like a KUL > SIN > LAX/SFO, and organize the flight to Chicago separately, or book through United, and try maybe a KUL > ICN > ORD.

I would check availability first, but either could be a great option.
