I am slightly new to the mileage game and was hoping that I could get some advice on the best reward redemption on a one way flight from Barcelona to Chicago. I have about 30K United Miles and 60K ultimate rewards, looking to book two one way flights, but all saver rewards are United are inconvenient at best for mid-end of June. Will this be my best option or is there a better way to use/transfer my points?

You could transfer your URs to Avios and fly Iberia BCN-MAD-ORD for 24K Avios. There will be a fuel surcharge but it should be much less than what you’d pay with BA. Picking a random date in June I saw YQ of €116.00 which is about $131.
