Best MR transfer option

Best MR transfer option

I need to transfer Membership Rewards in the next week and am looking for the best option. I was thinking Avios, ANA and Aeroplan. I don’t really need more Avios but it’s always good to have some extra for short haul domestic flights and they’re not going to be worth it to transfer after 10/1. I don’t need to book any international trips until after the Aeroplan devaluation either. Mostly looking to book premium travel to Europe for family. Suggestions?

I’m thinking Aeroplan but would love to hear what others think.

That was my thought too. I’ll probably transfer enough to cover the next European premium flight (post devaluation as it won’t be bookable until after the devaluation) and transfer the leftover MR to British Airways.

May I ask why do you have to transfer ASAP? Are you changing jobs and losing a card that came with the job? If so, you can apply for a no fee MR earning card like the Everyday card and still keep all your MRs in the Amex account itself. When you are ready to book you can decide which transfer option is the best at that time.

Going through a FR. Want to transfer out in case the worst happens.

For premium cabin to Europe, Aeroplan is still your best bet, even with the deval. I’d transfer most to that plus a bit to Avios before the transfer ratio goes from 1:1 to 5:4 on Thursday.
