Best business class award redemption US-Israel

Best business class award redemption US-Israel

1. AndreN New Member

Hi,

Which program would require the least number of miles for an award redemption for business class between US and Israel. Transferable from Chase UR or Amex MR. I don’t mind paying some cash for fuel surcharges.
So far the best option I found is through Singapore Krisflyer – 115K round trip plus fuel surcharges (on Turkish it’s around $300). Maybe Flying Blue (Israel is considered ‘Europe’ by them)? Any better options?

Thanks!

Welcome.

Would not call it better, but an option would Chase UR to Korean Air. NA to ME would cost 120K points for a Skyteam award.

Thanks!
I assume from West Coast the only viable option would be KLM/AF? Any idea if there are fuel surcharges when redeeming Korean for those flights?
Is this option better than transferring directly to Flying Blue from Amex MR?

Unless I have missed something the West Coast choices are either KLM/AF or Delta.

Korean pass on fuel surcharges, think it would be high in the range 900-1000$ if my memory is correct.

Let me check a bit on FlyingBlue, don’t have all the information in the head about them.

@AndreN Been traveling so haven’t been able to look this up before now. Quick look at November on FB shows the cheapest routing R/T is 125,000 miles plus ~650 in taxes and fees although the majority of dates are significantly higher.

Thanks! Seems like redeeming through Krisflyer is the best option. 115k + $500 biz round trip on Turkish.
