Best Asia Miles Transpacific Award Ticket
Hi All!
I am planning to fly from Hong Kong to somewhere in the US in Business Class this summer. I have found out that I can redeem a ticket with 2 stopovers. It’s 145k Asia Miles from HKG to the East Coast and back. and 120k for the West Coast and back. I want to try and try out the best business class products out there, so which routing do you suggest? Initially, I was planning on taking CX from HK to London, BA’s A380 to Miami, and then flying AA from Miami to Dallas and then on to Hong Kong. Do you think that BA’s A380 Business product is any good? I’ve read Ben’s reviews several times and I find the configuration on the A380, especially on the lower deck very cramped. I’ve heard good things about AA’s new 777-300ER Business product so I am looking forward to trying that product out in the near future. My preferable choice would be to fly Royal Jordanian from HK to Bangkok, Qatar’s new Business product on their A380 to Doha, and their new Business product on their A350’s to either Philadelphia or Boston, and then flying Finnair from NYC on their old Business product, and then to Hong Kong on their new Business product, but finding award availability from Doha to the US on Qatar is a nightmare. I can easily find award availability on CX F or Business due to my MPC Diamond Status, but I’ve been on their both of their Premium products several times and I am looking for a change.
What’s the best Transpacific Itinerary with the best Business Class products with 2 stopovers?
Thanks for your help!
