Award flight canceled

Award flight canceled

When you book an award ticket in a premium cabin where there are only sometimes 1 or 2 award seats and your flight is canceled, do they rebook you just on the next flight with tickets in your cabin, or do they book you on the next flight with an award?

Usually airlines are pretty decent about accommodating people when flights are canceled because of changes that the airline made. I would expect to be placed on the next flight with regular space available. If not a polite call should help resolve the issue.
