Avios for Qatar Flights

Avios for Qatar Flights

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hello,

I will be travelling on Qatar Airways business class from Europe to India next week. I dont fly Qatar Airways often and would prefer to accumulate those miles in my BA account. Is that an efficient way to collect the mile? Will I lose miles in having Qatar Airways post them in my BA account?

    Thanks,
    Kau

Kau, you won’t “lose” miles but airlines credit mileage at different rates depending on partners, fare class etc. To see how many Avios you would earn check the BA tool at http://www.britishairways.com/travel/flight-calculator/public/en_us. You could also use GCmap to contrast that with, say AA availability.
