Am I crazy? 100K AA miles vs 27.5K AS miles… which would you take?

Am I crazy? 100K AA miles vs 27.5K AS miles… which would you take?

    Hi there,

It seems like the answer should be obvious, but for some reason I’m struggling to decide whether I should take 100K bonus AA miles or 27.5K bonus AS miles for booking a cruise. I live in Seattle and nowadays fly AS and DL way more than I do AA, and AA’s devaluation is coming up (I won’t receive the miles until April of *2017*)… and I’ve become addicted to EK F (with AS miles)… so I’m honestly not sure what to do. I have to decide by the morning. Any advice?

    Thanks,
    Todd

Continue to love the EK F using AS but

Apply for another round of AS card from BOA and you are there on AS. But to get 100K of AA, you will need at least 2 apps on Citi.

I just cannot even think of point specific use that applies in AS favor.

Thanks for the sanity check. We’re now all set to earn 100K bonus AA miles after our cruise next year. Yay!
