Alaska Award on Emirates and Partner?

Alaska Award on Emirates and Partner?

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi,

Just found out about a scheduling change on an Alaskan Award redemption that impacts my trip.

I was scheduled to fly from Atlanta to Munich on Emirates First (going the long way) to get to Oktoberfest this year – this was ticketed a while ago.

I was going from ATL-SEA-LAX-DXB-MUC leaving first thing in the morning from Atlanta.

Well, it looks like Alaska has now cancelled their morning flight on Wednesday’s for that time of year and put me on the day before for the ATL-SEA-LAX segments and has me waiting over a day for the Emirates portion of the flight?

Any chance I can get Alaska to put me on the American ATL-LAX flight directly on the day/time I was going to originally fly? I know you are not suppose to mix partner tickets with Emirates but hoping it will be worth a shot trying – 24 hour layover sounds unreasonable. Should they offer to put me up for the night? Anyone have any experience with this situation?

    Thanks.

It’s worth calling AS and asking for another solution since the cancellation isnt in your control. They shouldnt charge you the new mileage either
