Alaska Airline bonus tickets: Flight origin?
Hey Ben
about Alaska Airlines
the search engine in the Alaska web site only allows for travel originating from the USA.
is it possible to purchase using Alaska miles tickets that dont originate in the USA?
all the charts indicate mileage amounts and prices from the USA but i am sure there has to be a way for other routing?
example: Europe – Australia
thanks
Daniel
You can only use Alaska miles for routings that they price on their award calculator. For the most part flights must end or start in the US. There are some exceptions like intra Asia flights.
There are few exceptions to AS’s rule where awards mist originate or terminate in North America. For Europe to Australia, it would require 2 awards – Europe to Asia and Asia to Australia, both on CX
