1) as you see it, they changed a US toll free number to a number at a local rate.

2) when I called, I was informed that the management team compeltely removed all English-speaking agents in Topbonus team starting from a few weeks ago. Now one can’t issue an award ticket on phone unless one speaks German language.

3) For non-German speaking persons who is trying to issue an award ticket, there are only two options as I was told: 1) use online award search & redemption or 2) email to Topbonus.

So I spent some time to use their online award search & redemption.

issue 1) Simply there is no button to choose class (eco or biz). It only shows eco availability as default.

issue 2) While Qatar is a partner, the search engine doesn’t show any Qatar availability.

Any thought, advice or tips to use Airberlin Topbonus award search engine???
