Hi Lucky – I found space between the US andBangkok connecting through Abu Dhabi on Etihad using AA miles. Is it possible to stop-over in Abu Dhabi for a couple of days? Thanks!!

No–AA does not allow stop overs. The best you can do is find a connection that is less than 24 hours.

American won’t let you route from the US to Asia via the Middle East on a single award. You could, however, book it as two separate awards, and then you could have a “stopover” for as long as you’d like. But I suppose that’s not really a “stopover” in the traditional sense either.
