AA award rules..how to use
Lucky,
My wife and I am coming in from AUH in first on the a380 to JFK(YEAH!!!). We need to get to LAX and nothing is available. Should I book the last segment (nothing is direct) to LAX in coach. Hoping that in the next 10 months something in business/first opens up? And will I still be able to make a routing change ie not thru Dallas, ORD etc after the March deadline?
As always THANKS
G
Garrett if you have already booked your AUH-JFK flight you are going to have to pay a change fee to change your destination to LAX. In general, yes you should definitely add a coach leg on an AA award if you don’t see F availability since you can upgrade when space becomes available at no extra charge.
