787-10 on United
I’ll be flying from EWR to HNL (via SFO) in April, with the first leg of my trip on United’s new 787-10. I have a Buisness/First reward ticket, and the plane is equipped with the Polaris hard product. Do you think this affords me access to the Polaris Lounges in EWR and SFO? I’ll post my review of the experience after I return.
I think you should, per the UA website:
All eligible premium cabin customers must be traveling on an international itinerary or in United Business® on a premium transcontinental flight. Please present a same-day United boarding pass.
Pretty sure you only get United Club access, not Polaris. That’s long been a critique of United’s premium transcon service, that they don’t allow access to their best lounges
