United Airlines has been focused on improving Denver Airport (DEN) recently. While the airport has limited long haul service, it’s an important domestic connecting hub for United, and it’s also an airport where United is competing fiercely with Southwest for market share.
Along those lines, United is investing $1 billion in the passenger experience at the airport. Recently a new United Club opened in the A Concourse, and today a new United Club opened in the B Concourse, which is the largest United Club ever. This also complements the late 2022 opening of United Club Fly, a new concept at the airport, featuring grab & go food.
Let’s go over the details of the two recently opened United Clubs at Denver Airport, which span almost 60,000 square feet.

35,000 square foot United Club Denver B Concourse
A new United Club has today opened at Denver Airport, located in the B Concourse, near gate B44. The new club is 35,000 square feet, with seating for roughly 600 guests, spread across three levels. That makes this United Club the largest in United’s network.
The United Club Denver B Concourse is described as being inspired by Denver’s urban areas, with details such as concrete flooring, hand-crafted decor, and exposed ceilings for a sleek and modern design. The lounge has locally-sourced furnishings and artwork, including photography, paintings, sculptures, and murals.
As far as the food & drink selection goes, one thing in particular stands out. The United Club reflects Denver’s beer scene, with brewery-inspired elements and a new beer tasting experience at the feature bar on the mezzanine level. At the bar, travelers can choose from a seasonal rotation of 10 local and craft beers on tap.

24,000 square foot United Club Denver A Concourse
A new United Club has recently opened at Denver Airport, located in the A Concourse, near gate A26. The new club is 24,000 square feet, with seating for roughly 400 guests, spread across two levels.
The United Club Denver A Concourse is described as being influenced by the Colorado Rocky Mountains, also with locally-sourced furniture and decor. The lounge is designed to feel like a ski lodge, and has two fireplace lounges, stacked wood, flannel patterned cushions, and vintage ski decor. The lounge also features artwork from local artists, including sculptural installations, murals, and more.
Both United Clubs feature self-scan entry gates, agent on demand kiosks, and some culinary offerings with local fair, like oatmeal paired with Colorado honey, egg frittata inspired by the Denver omelet (ham, bell peppers, red onion, spinach and cheddar cheese), Colorado Club sandwiches, and pork green chili.

Bottom line
United Airlines is improving its premium passenger experience in Denver, with the opening of two huge new United Clubs. We’ve now seen a 35,000 square foot United Club open in the B Concourse, and we recently saw the opening of a 24,000 square foot United Clubs in the A Concourse.
While the food & beverage selection in United Clubs often leaves something to be desired, the design of these lounges looks great. I’m sure many beer fans will also appreciate the new brewery focus in the B Concourse lounge.
What do you make of the new United Clubs at Denver Airport?
I've travelled over 2 million miles. The new United Club on the B Consource in Denver is one of the best I have ever experienced, including business class lounges in Europe for Lufthansa. The only other domestic club that is in the same class as the new United Club on Concourse B is the Alaska Airlines lounge in Seattle! Both are spectacular!!!

When will United update its lounges @ SFO?
Except for the Polaris Lounge in the G Concourse, the two other United lounges at SFO (in the E and F Concourses) are exceptionally “long in the tooth” to say the least, both in terms of facilities and the food and beverage offerings.
Go now before it gets ruined by United's passengers.
I caught a woman clipping her fingernails yesterday in the Terminal A Club at EWR.
Why should we expect United to invest in anything nice, when people treat it like crap?

Are the local beers complementary?
It should probably be noted that this is the B-East lounge and it was renovated and expanded B-West is now shutting to get a similar treatment and will be open in 1-2 years. The A lounge is completely new, located in the concourse expansion where United's new gates were built. It's also near where the Polaris lounge is likely going in a couple of years (United already has the space).

Ditch the black trim - make it an earth tone - and you have a really warm inviting Western club
Then I saw the 'come fly with us' cliche on the wall of one of the photos. Face palm - cringe.
The old Club was an overcrowded embarrassment (with the exception of decently friendly staff), so this new Club is a welcome change. Unfortunately the color scheme and design language are sterile to me. I resonate more with AA’s new club at DCA.
I thought all, or virtually all, United gates were on the B Concourse?
Is the A Concourse club for Star Alliance Gold travelers (Air Canada?) and also to keep one-time pass holders out of the presumably more in-demand B Concourse club?
United has expanded service at Denver such that of its 90 gates, 22 are in Concourse A, so they need space for those customers too.
Also, all international flights arrive in (and most depart) from Concourse A, since it is directly connected by air bridge to the customs facility in the main terminal, so United needs to have a signature facility for those international travelers
