Rosewood Calistoga, Napa Valley’s Newest Luxury Hotel, Opens April 2027

Luxury hotel group Rosewood has just started accepting reservations for its newest property in the United States, the Rosewood Calistoga. The brand doesn’t exactly have a huge presence in the United States, so it’s cool to see it grow.

96-key Rosewood Calistoga opens spring 2027

The Rosewood Calistoga is expected to open as of April 15, 2027. The property is located at the northern end of Napa Valley, in the northern part of California. It’s nestled along 118 acres of Calistoga’s forested ridgeline, and set within forestry and steps from the heart of downtown.

The resort has a total of 96 guest rooms (inclusive of 31 suites), along with 33 residences (inclusive of 20 villas and 13 estate homesites) that aren’t included in that key count. The entry level room is the Estate King, which measures 500 square feet, while the entry level suite is the Forest View Suite, which measures 1,000 square feet.

The Rosewood Calistoga is designed by studio Atelier Marsh, with architect Ed Tuttle having set the original vision for the property.

The resort has a farm-to-table restaurant, a poolside eatery, and an intimate cocktail bar, along with all the amenities you’d expect from a Rosewood resort in this region, like an Asaya Spa with six treatment rooms, two pools (one exclusively for adults), a fitness center, an outdoor garden, hydrotherapy experiences, and more.

Despite the property now accepting reservations and being months from opening, exact details are otherwise still limited, in terms of the names of the restaurants, etc.

The Napa Valley area has a good number of luxury hotels, including the Alila, Four Seasons, and a few Auberge Collection properties (Auberge du Soleil, Solage, and Stanly Ranch).

Rosewood Calistoga rates & how to book

Rosewood Calistoga is accepting bookings for stays as of April 15, 2027. Until November 4, 2026, the property is bookable exclusively through Rosewood Elite travel advisors, and then as of that date, it’ll be bookable by the public.

Rosewood Elite is the brand’s preferred partner program, and for booking at this property through Rosewood Elite you receive a guaranteed room upgrade upon booking (based on availability), a $90 daily breakfast credit, a $125 hotel credit once per stay, valet parking, a welcome amenity, and more.

As things currently stand, rates at Rosewood Calistoga start at $2,100 to $2,500 per night, depending on the season. Obviously that’s steep, but it’s also not surprising, given the pricing of top hotels in Napa Valley.

Bottom line

The Rosewood Calistoga is opening on April 15, 2027. The luxury resort will be located at the northern end of Napa Valley, and should be very nice. As you’d expect, rates here are steep, but that’s not surprising when you consider the general rates in the region, plus what people are expecting from this property.

The good news is that if you’re looking to redeem points, the Alila Napa Valley continues to be an excellent option, and it’s a property I really love.
