Oman Air is rolling out some new amenity kits, which many premium passengers will appreciate.

Oman Air partners with Amouage on amenity kits
Oman Air has introduced new amenity kits in partnership with Amouage, available to first class and business class passengers.
The first class amenity kits feature the Epic Man & Epic Woman fragrances from Amouage, described as “unfurling a narrative inspired by the Silk Road, where mythical landscapes of mineral dunes and lush steppes adorned with caravanserais redolent with exotic spices and distant blossoms beckon.” I have no clue what that’s supposed to mean, but I adore the description.
The women’s kit is an elongated bag in a sandy hue, while the men’s kit is a cocoa-colored toiletry bag with contrasting handles and stitching.
The business class amenity kits are provided in a unisex folio-style kit with a light cashmere color. They feature the Meander fragrance from Amouage, “a fragrant journey that encapsulates the mesmerising sights, scents, and emotions of Salalah’s unique monsoon season.” Again, what a description!
All kits feature an assortment of skincare products from Amouage, including hand and body lotion, facial moisturizer, and lip balm. The kits also have an eye mask, a hand cleansing gel, mouthwash, and earplugs.
Here’s how Renaud Salmon, Chief Creative Officer at Amouage, describes this collaboration:
“The new amenity sets mark a new chapter in the harmonious partnership between Amouage and Oman Air. They are at the intersection of Omani hospitality and the vision of luxury that we have upheld for four decades but, above all, they are an extension of the Amouage wave, which has ceaselessly guided our artistic endeavors, carrying them to distant shores like the waves that have carried Oman’s treasures to every corner of the globe. I believe that these amenity sets will continue to perpetuate the meaning and essence of those journeys that make up Oman’s distinctive identity.”
This is a brilliant partnership
For those not familiar with Amouage, it’s an Omani perfumery house that was founded 40 years ago at the request of Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, Oman’s eccentric late leader. So it’s great that the Omani national carrier is partnering with such a well-regarded Omani brand, and I’m surprised it took this long for the partnership to happen.
Amouage has some legitimately great fragrances. I bought an Amouage fragrance on an Emirates flight last year (yes, the one with the really pushy first class flight attendant), and love it. It’s such a unique scent, and it’s different than most of what you’ll find in the west.
I can’t wait for Oman Air to join the oneworld alliance in 2024, as it’s a lovely little airline. Right now there are limited ways to redeem points for travel on Oman Air — while Aeroplan in theory has a partnership, these redemptions have been blocked for a long time.
Bottom line
Oman Air has introduced new amenity kits in partnership with Amouage. Not only is Amouage a high-end brand with great fragrances, but it’s also an Omani company, so it seems like a natural fit. I can’t wait to fly with Oman Air again (though it’ll probably be once the airline joins oneworld).

I have a bunch of amenity kits from 4 sectors on Oman Air in June and July 2023 marked as 'Oman Air / Amourage'. They are a different design from the ones pictured here but have essentially the same content - again, maybe a slightly different package design. I think you have been 'PR'd'.
Another vote here for Amouage fragrances. They cost a fortune, but are so concentrated and powerful that a 100 mL bottle will last for many years.

The amemity kit in Business Class consisted of 4 (!) Amouage tubes of 100ml each with lipbalm, facialcream, eyegel and handlotion. Although the scent was veeeery heavy and oriental and not to my taste.
Plus there was a comb, a shoe horn, a 60ml Colgate tooth rinsing, a shaving kit, a sewing kit, earplugs, tooth brush and toothpaste in the kit. The quality and...

This was their existing brand used in Business Class which is what I received in Nov 2022. As mentioned below it might be launching a new look. I think you've also flown Business Class with them and might have received the same brand just with a different look?
I think is more like re launch. I fly with them last June and they use the same brand for their amenities with the only different is packaging. But, love them in all aspect, not the best but truly hidden gem "boutique" airlines.

Have you heard any updates as to the timeline for Oman Air to join oneworld? Anything more specific than 2024?
@ KJ -- Unfortunately I haven't. I suspect it'll just happen at some point with fairly advance notice. Hopefully it's sooner than later.
I received this exact amenity kit on MCT-BKK back in October. Are they just late in announcing it or what?
@ WHS -- Interesting. It was just announced, so it sounds like they may have quietly rolled it out sooner. How were the kits?
