JetBlue is trying to improve its financial performance and return to profitability, and the airline is making good progress. In addition to introducing first class fleet wide as of 2026, the airline is also making changes to its extra legroom economy seating. The airline has now revealed exactly what we can expect from the rebranded extra legroom economy seating.
In this post:
JetBlue’s new EvenMore extra legroom economy
For years, JetBlue has offered Even More Space, which is the carrier’s extra legroom economy section. Well, the airline is now rebranding this — as of January 28, 2025, JetBlue will launch EvenMore, which replaces Even More Space. Nothing is actually changing when it comes to the seating, but instead, the inclusions are being updated.
JetBlue’s EvenMore product includes the following amenities:
- Extra legroom for ultimate comfort
- Up to three complimentary alcoholic beverages
- A premium snack option, in the form of Tiny Tate’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Priority security access at select airports
- Early boarding
- Dedicated overhead bin space marked with designated decals
- Complimentary headphones upon request
The most significant change here is that we’re seeing the addition of free alcohol, a premium snack, and complimentary headphones, with this seating. As was the case with Even More Space, EvenMore can be purchased at an extra cost, or alternatively, JetBlue TrueBlue Mosaic members can potentially receive these seats on a complimentary basis, subject to availability.
Here’s how JetBlue President Marty St. George describes this development:
“It’s no secret that customers increasingly value unique experiences, so we’re bringing together great service and affordable fares into a competitive, elevated travel option. Building on the success of Even More Space, the new EvenMore offers new amenities that our customers will love, in addition to the extra legroom they enjoy today.”
Some JetBlue exit row seats won’t be part of EvenMore
Here’s what’s also interesting. Historically, JetBlue Even More Space has included the first several rows of seats at the front of the cabin, plus seats in the exit rows, given that there’s extra legroom there as well.
Going forward, EvenMore will consist exclusively of the extra legroom economy seats at the front of the cabin. Meanwhile the seats with extra legroom that aren’t at the front of the cabin, like some of the ones in the exit rows, will be rebranded as “extra legroom” seats.
So while you can purchase EvenMore seats during the initial booking flow and even select it as a separate fare type, the extra legroom seats are bookable later in the booking process. Because some exit row seats aren’t branded as EvenMore, they won’t offer the same perks, like priority boarding, complimentary alcoholic drinks, etc.
Bottom line
JetBlue is replacing Even More Space seating with EvenMore. Nothing is changing about the seats as such, but those seated in the extra legroom seats at the front of the cabin will receive free alcoholic drinks, a free premium snack, complimentary headphones, and more.
This is a positive development, and I’m happy to see JetBlue improving the value proposition of its extra legroom economy seating. In the process, just keep in mind that extra legroom seats not at the front of the cabin will be branded differently, and won’t be part of this.
What do you make of JetBlue’s new EvenMore product?
This feels like a missed opportunity to differentiate from the Y+ offerings at DL/AA/UA. A guaranteed open seat next to you would be a nice feature - at least until "Mini Mint" becomes available.
On a random date in June JetBlue is asking $99 for a "Blue" fare or $199 for an "Even More" fare from JFK to FLL. Double the price for a couple inches of added legroom, a "premium" cookie (that costs...

On a random date in June JetBlue is asking $99 for a "Blue" fare or $199 for an "Even More" fare from JFK to FLL. Double the price for a couple inches of added legroom, a "premium" cookie (that costs less than $2 at my local CVS), and a slight buzz from 3 alcoholic beverages? No thanks.
Is B6 afraid those on extra leg room exit rows would be drunk after the third drink?? ;-(
I'm not that impressed. This is just another example of dressing up a cow to make more money. Combine that with the fact that it has become dreadfully expensive to fly in the first place, and the product seems to be an overreach. I'd never pay for an EvenMore seat, regardless of how little they ask.
Who cares? It's premium economy with less benefits than UA or AA have. Just another renaming to allow Noo Yawk Yankers and Massholes to sound particularly precious when describing PE on "their" "airline".
