Etihad has just announced some substantial improvements to its inflight amenities. Not only is Etihad revamping its amenity kits and skincare products, but the airline is also introducing pajamas in business class on select flights, plus tote bags in economy. Etihad just keeps getting better…

Etihad partners with Giorgio Armani & ESPA on new amenities
Etihad has unveiled new luxury amenities for guests, primarily in partnership with Giorgi Armani and ESPA. This encompasses all cabins, including first class, business class, and economy class. You can expect all of these new amenities to be rolled out progressively, starting in late February 2024.
The partnership with Giorgio Armani comes nearly a year after Etihad debuted an Armani / Casa partnership in business class. Let’s go over the details of everything we can expect with these latest changes.
Etihad first class Giorgio Armani amenity kits
In first class, Etihad is introducing new Giorgio Armani and Etihad branded large folio bags, described as one of the largest amenity kits in the sky. These bags will come in four colors, and can be used post-flight to carry documents, tablets, or even a 13″ laptop, which is pretty cool.
This will come with a variety of products from ESPA, including a hydrating face mist, a nourishing lip treatment, a restful oil for relaxation, a rest and recovery night balm, and a rejuvenating hand and body lotion. There will also be more basic items, like eyeshades, ear plugs, and a dental kit.
This replaces the Acqua di Parma amenity kits that Etihad previously offered in first class.
Etihad business class Giorgio Armani amenity kits
In business class, Etihad is introducing new unisex Giorgio Armani amenity kits, in two styles — a clutch bag and a cube. The clutch will feature “The Dunes,” a contemporary print design drawing inspiration from the rolling sands of the Liwa desert in Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile the cube will feature a geometric shape for easy packing and organization in suitcases or drawers at home.
This will be stocked with a variety of products from ESPA, including a nourishing lip treatment, a hydrating face mist, and a rejuvenating hand and body lotion. This will also come with slippers, eyeshades, earplugs, and a dental kit.

Etihad first & business class pajamas & loungewear
Etihad isn’t just updating its amenity kits, but is also introducing new pajamas and loungewear:
- In first class, Etihad is introducing Giorgio Armani loungewear and slippers, presented in a large Giorgio Armani folio bag; this loungewear is charcoal in color, and is soft to touch, anti-wrinkle, and features a Henley neckline and tonal print inspired by the Abu Dhabi skyline
- In business class on flights of over nine hours, Etihad is introducing loungewear inspired by traditional Emirati dress with the Emirati “V” stitching on the chest, along with plush slippers
The first class loungewear replaces what was previously offered in partnership with Emirati brand “A Friend Of Mine.”
In business class, this also marks the reintroduction of pajamas in that cabin, as that isn’t something Etihad has offered in recent years. It’s awesome that Etihad can now be added to the list of airlines offering pajamas in business class. In the Gulf, Qatar Airways has been offering this for a long time, while Emirates recently introduced this on flights of over nine hours.
Etihad economy class tote bags
It’s not just premium passengers who are getting an upgrade to the passenger experience, but also economy passengers. In economy on flights of over six hours, Etihad will offer all passengers a tote bag with inflight essentials, including Beekman hand cream, eyeshades, and ear plugs.
The branded tote bag is described as a useful gift for carrying excess items or for future shopping. The tote comes in three collectible designs, featuring tailfins of Etihad’s aircraft. Each bag is made from a 500ml PET bottle rescued from a landfill.
Bottom line
Etihad is introducing new amenities, partly in partnership with Giorgio Armani and ESPA. This includes new amenity kits, new loungewear, and even tote bags in economy. I’m extremely impressed by Etihad’s continued investment in both the hard and soft product, and can’t wait to see these amenities firsthand.
What do you make of Etihad’s soft product updates?
Giorgio Armani feels quite a low-brow unspecial brand given what some other airlines provide now. Obviously didn't expect something like Amouage, but this still feels very meh for Eithad even.
On the opposite , SQ doesn’t even provide PJs on the longest commercial flight JFK-SIN
Just flew Etihad Apartments first class a couple weeks ago. Left the ADP amenity kits behind as the Air Canada ones are the same and have lots of those, plus the pajamas as they only loaded mediums.

Sweet. Loved the current amenities esp Acqua di Parma fragrance but new bag can replace current many years back AA amenities bag as iPad holder. Cool
I like the economy tote bag. The most useful amenity kit I ever got was one that transformed into a reusable shopping bag. Even though we all have enough reusable bags, this was at least more useful than the typical pouch.
I guess when you increasingly restrict your premium cabins to only paying customers then you can afford to invest more in amenities.
Good update! I'll have a few flights in late April / May, some of which will be just over 9 hours. Might be lucky timing.
Most important for me will be the slippers. I'll never understand how some airlines seemingly expect passengers in business class to visit the toilet on socks, or alternatively always put on the shoes for those few minutes.
The pajamas will be a nice addition to try, although for...

The pajamas will be a nice addition to try, although for the beginning (while I can't be sure to get one) I'll still bring my EVA Air pajama.
