Link: Apply now for the Chase Sapphire Reserve®
Chase and Lyft have just expanded their partnership, and this is exciting news for those with the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (review).
In this post:
Chase Sapphire Reserve offers Lyft Pink All Access membership
When Chase and Lyft first introduced their partnership a couple of years ago, they included a Lyft Pink membership for premium cardmembers. Well, this is making a comeback.
As of November 15, 2022, those with the the Chase Sapphire Reserve have the option to receive a complimentary Lyft Pink All Access membership, which retails for $199 per year, and is the most premium membership option from Lyft.
This is offered complimentary for two years, and in the third year you can receive a 50% discount on the membership cost (it auto-renews, so if you’re not interested, you’ll want to make sure you cancel your membership before that). You must activate your membership by December 31, 2024.
This stacks with the existing Chase and Lyft partnership. Through March 2025, those with the Chase Sapphire Reserve earn 10x Ultimate Rewards points on Lyft spending. I value Chase points at 1.7 cents each, so to me that alone is a 17% return on Lyft spending, which is huge.
Also keep in mind that you can earn points for your Lyft purchases with either Alaska Mileage Plan or Hilton Honors, adding even more value with this spending.
How to activate your two year Lyft Pink All Access membership
Activating your Lyft Pink All Access membership is easy. First make sure that your Chase Sapphire Reserve is linked to your Lyft account, as a payment method.
Click the three horizontal lines at the top left of the Lyft app, and then you’ll see that the menu appears on the left side of the screen. Click “Lyft Pink.”
On the next page, you should automatically be prompted to activate your two year free Lyft Pink All Access membership.
Once you agree to the terms, your membership will be activated, and you can start using your perks right away — it’s that easy!
What are the perks of a Lyft Pink All Access membership?
Lyft has two membership tiers — Lyft Pink and Lyft Pink All Access. What are the perks of Lyft Pink All Access?

- Cancellation forgiveness, cancel up to three times per month for free
- In-app roadside assistance for your own car, free up to four times a year

This adds value to the Chase Sapphire Reserve
If you ask me, this is a hugely positive development, and makes it much easier to justify the annual fee on the Chase Sapphire Reserve. Nowadays we see premium credit cards offer all kinds of limited time partnerships, which are of varying value.
I’d say this is about as useful as these kinds of partnerships get, especially as it’s valid for two years, and is even valid for those who took advantage of the Lyft Pink membership when the partnership between Lyft and Chase was first introduced.
Often it can be hard to crunch the numbers on premium cards, though I think for many people, this will make the Chase Sapphire Reserve be worth it. So whether you’re an existing cardmember trying to justify the annual fee, or whether you’re considering picking up the card (this is a great time to apply), this is a fantastic incentive to have the card.
If you rideshare with any frequency, then the partnership between Chase and Lyft really is a game-changer, if you ask me. Being able to earn 10x Chase points plus getting Lyft Pink All Access benefits is an awesome combination that makes using Lyft a no-brainer in a vast majority of cases.
Bottom line
The Chase Sapphire Reserve now offers a two year Lyft Pink All Access membership, which would ordinarily retail for $199 per year. This offers lots of perks with Lyft, and stacks with the ability to earn 10x Chase points with Lyft.
This is an exciting new feature, and for me makes it much easier to justify holding onto the Chase Sapphire Reserve. Well done, Chase and Lyft!
What do you make of the Chase Sapphire Reserve adding a Lyft Pink All Access membership?
This is not a helpful benefit and not convincing to apply for the card. I do not use Lux services or food delivery.
Two years is better than nothing but not the most generous perk. I assume Lyft will make a lot of money from people who do not turn off the auto renew. I find Uber not only cheaper but more convenient anyway.
Does Lyft Pink still include priority pick-up at airports? Seems like no. That’s a shame—that came in handy many times! And I could be mistaken but I believe it used to be a 10% or 15% discount on all rides and now just Lux. Very smart since it means I will more often be taking Lux if the wait time isn’t too much longer.
I have my Chase Sapphire Reserve linked to my Lyft account, but I only see a 1-month free trial of LyftPink available when following the instructions Ben noted here. Is anyone else having the same issue?
For those who are hesitant about auto-renewal: After you sign up, you can immediately go in and turn off auto-renewal. LyftPink>Manage plan. The free membership will continue through Nov 2024.
Huge thanks for sharing this, love the free scooter rides this will save me 40-50 a year!
What happens if you already have and are paying for Lyft Pink?
I have this issue. Lyft customer service was useless on the issue... they advised me to cancel my regular Pink membership and I should see the All Access option. After cancelling the Pink membership, the only option the app is giving me is to reactivate it. No "all access" options even if I pay.
I am encountering the same issue. I cancelled my Pink Membership but do not see the option to sign up for All Access. I agree that Lyft customer service has been useless.
First of all, as a car owner, there are simply very limited use cases for lyft or uber. Once you travel more with your little one, you'll realize that the need for a car seat precludes lyft, uber, or taxis. But back on topic, what are the benefits, exactly? For example, what sort of discount do you see with this "member exclusive" pricing? What is LUX? How does grubhub+ compare with the existing doordash partnership?...

Sure, I can google this and get the answers, but these details would be a great value-add to a post that honestly doesn't seem to cover much more ground than their press release.
If you don’t understand why a car owner would want to use Lyft, you may not be the target audience for this.
As a car owner who travels with small kids: This is simply incorrect. You absolutely can take them in Lyft/Uber, provided you bring the car seat. Airlines let you check these for free, and you’ll need one if you rent a car on the other end. Otherwise, you can just park at the airport on the local side if you won’t be using a rental car when you arrive. Which way works better depends on the trip details in my experience.
How do you change to Pink All Access if you've previously signed up for Pink via the Reserve card? I'm not seeing the option in my account.
My account was automatically upgraded to All Access on Nov 10, per an email from Lyft on that date.
I got that email as well, but when I"m in the Lyft app, it only says I have Lyft Pink through early next year instead of 2 years of Pink All Access.
Can you still receive this offer if you already pay for LyftPink?
This is also easy to justify if you are otherwise paying for a membership for any of Lyft's bikeshare services, like Citibike in New York, since Lyft Pink essentially includes a bikeshare membership.
100% - this is a huge incentive for me to upgrade to the Reserve. A citibike membership is up to $185 a year!
