Sorry for the lack of updates the past two days, as I’ve actually been quite disconnected while on “holiday” in the UAE. Anyway, here are just a few pictures from the new Park Hyatt Saadiyat Island, before I post the trip report upon my return:
Simply a stunning property. Saadiyat Island also has some of the emptiest beaches I’ve seen at any resort, which is awesome.

Lucky, you have a lot of firstworldproblems, always facing expiring certificates lol. I still don't understand the big deal about suite upgrades. It's nice but wouldn't to out of my way for it. I guess it's your job to stay at the top of the top though.
@ Michael Dubai is one of 7 emirates within the UAE, it's not a country. Sharjah is the only emirate which is completely dry, the others have alcohol to varying degrees.
@ Michael -- UAE isn't dry.
That's $272 a night - pretty good value for that spectacular suite - is Dubai a dry country by the way?
@ dmodemd @ Michael -- The rate was 1,000AED. Not cheap, but seemed worthwhile to use an expiring suite upgrade.
