The Amex Offers program frequently has promotions for hotel stays, which can save you money or earn you bonus points for stays you’d make anyway. In August we saw Amex roll out a targeted offer for stays at Hyatts in Mexico, and now we’ve also seen Amex roll out an offer for stays at Grand Hyatts in the United States, Mexico, and the Bahamas.

There’s a targeted Amex Offers deal for stays at select Grand Hyatt properties:
- Save $60 when you spend $300+ across one or more transactions (up to 20% back)
- This is valid for all Grand Hyatt properties in the United States, Mexico, and the Bahamas
- This is valid when you pay for your stay between September 15 and December 15, 2022
- The terms state that you need to book directly with Hyatt to take advantage of this
- All room charges, including taxes and fees, should qualify toward this offer
- Gift card purchases are excluded

Spend $500+ with Hyatt in Mexico, save $100
There’s a targeted Amex Offers deal for stays at Hyatt properties in Mexico:
- Save $100 when you spend $500+ across one or more transactions (up to 20% back)
- This is valid for all Hyatt Hotels & Resorts properties in Mexico, and excludes all other Hyatt properties, including AMR Collection
- This is valid when you pay for your stay between August 24 and November 30, 2022
- The terms state that you need to book directly with Hyatt to take advantage of this
- All room charges, including taxes and fees, should qualify toward this offer
- Gift card purchases are excluded
- Registration is required

There’s are two targeted Amex Offers deal that can save you money — one offer can save you $100 off the cost of a $500+ Hyatt stay in Mexico, while the other offer can save you $60 off the cost of a $300+ Grand Hyatt stay in the United States, Mexico, or the Bahamas. Does anyone know if spa charges at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego counts as eligible room charges to trigger this Amex Offer? I though I read that some third party charges to the room may not be eligible. Staying there this weekend on free night awards so will not be incurring any rate charges, just room charges like dining and spa.
