Hilton For Business Double Elite Nights Promotion

Hilton For Business Double Elite Nights Promotion

2

Earlier this year, we saw the launch of the Hilton for Business program, which is Hilton’s (free) rewards program for small and medium sized businesses. The intent is to offer extra perks to businesses, to incentivize them to book with Hilton. Well, the Hilton for Business program has just launched a promotion that many will find to be quite lucrative.

Hilton for Business double elite nights offer

Between July 1 and December 31, 2024, Hilton for Business members can earn double elite nights for all stays:

  • Members will automatically be registered, and this applies to both new and existing Hilton for Business members, as long as you’re enrolled in the program before check-out of your first stay
  • There’s no limit to how many bonus elite nights you can earn with this offer
  • It can take six weeks from the completion of a stay for the bonus elite nights to post to your account
  • Double elite nights can count toward rollover night credit, and toward Hilton Honors lifetime status and milestone rewards, but don’t count toward Hilton for Business milestone bonuses or fast track promotions
  • You don’t need to book a Hilton for Business rate to earn double elite nights, but rather all eligible stays earn double elite nights, even when you redeem Hilton Honors points

This is a great promotion, but…

It goes without saying that if you’re looking to earn Hilton Honors status, this promotion is great. Hilton Honors Gold status ordinarily requires 40 nights in a year, while Hilton Honors Diamond status ordinarily requires 60 nights in a year, so you could now earn those tiers by staying 20 and 30 nights, respectively.

Just joining to join a business rewards program is hardly a big barrier to taking advantage of this, at least for most people.

Now, the catch is that most of us with access to credit cards in the United States don’t actually have to work hard to earn Hilton Honors status, since it’s so easy to earn with co-branded credit cards. For example, I have Hilton Honors Diamond status just by holding onto a credit card, so I don’t have to put any effort into qualifying for status.

Therefore I’d view this promotion a bit differently than if World of Hyatt offered a similar promotion, for example. However, for those outside the United States, this is no doubt much more valuable.

Earning Hilton Honors status can be pretty easy

Bottom line

The Hilton for Business program has a lucrative promotion whereby you can earn double elite nights for the entire second half of 2024. This is a great offer if you have to earn status with Hilton Honors the hard way. However, for those of us who earn Hilton status with credit cards, this doesn’t move the needle much.

Will you benefit from this Hilton for Business promotion?

I wonder if it is ok if you have a sole proprietorship with only 1-2 people?

Well it's a good offer for the rest of the world that don't have ludicrously generous credit card deals at least!
