The Amex Offers program often has promotions that can save you money on hotel stays, especially with co-brand credit card partners Hilton and Marriott. For those who prefer different kinds of accommodations, there’s a great new Amex Offers deal for Airbnb.
In this post:
Spend $500+ with Airbnb, get $100 back
There’s a new targeted Amex Offers deal for Airbnb stays. With this, you can receive a $100 statement credit when you spend $500 with Airbnb. There are some terms to be aware of, as you’d expect:
- The promotion is valid for purchases through December 31, 2022
- You must make $500 in purchases (in USD) in one or more transactions online at airbnb.com or through the Airbnb app
- Registration is required; while this is a targeted offer, it at least seems to be widely targeted, as I see this on several cards
The best card for this Amex Offers deal
Since it’s possible you’ll see this offer on multiple cards, ideally you’ll want to register a card that also offers bonus points on vacation rentals. As far as I know, the only Amex card to offer bonus points in this category is the Amex Green, as the card offers 3x Membership Rewards points on travel purchases.
Bottom line
There’s a new Amex Offers deal that can save you $100 when you spend $500+ with Airbnb. This is an excellent deal, so if you have any upcoming Airbnb stays, definitely see if you’re targeted, and then take advantage of this.
Was your Amex account targeted for this Airbnb deal, and if so, do you plan on taking advantage of it?
Airbnb? Yeah, right. Perhaps the $100 might cover one of the growing list of fees.
Not showing up on my Amex Plat. Odd because all I use the card for is travel spend.
Exactly, if you are already using it for travel they dont need to incentivize you to use it for travel spend.
I read "spend $500 and get $100 back" and immediately thought about how useless the Citi Premier Hotel credit was, again. Thanks, Ben! -_- hahaha
