Airports and flying will be hit the most since there are so many people traveling to some many places the risk is much higher of catching the virus (or really anything) much higher.
Why does it show 280k miles for Chicago to Dublin on Alaskair? Nobody would book that.

If I've already booked award travel on Aer Lingus in economy using BA Avios, can I call up BA and ask them to change the reservation to business class (I checked and there is business space available on my flight)? Would there be a change fee, or would I just be on the hook for the difference in miles?
Setting aside questions about "travel through zombie apocalypse" ((C) Lucky), 70k United miles for a 6 hour BOS-DUB flight doesn't seem like a very good value compared to, say, 90k miles for DPS-IST-BOS on TK.

On Alaska I see SEA>DUB in as 60k Econ; an obnoxious 280k in J on Aer Lingus.

For everyone wondering about the 280K awards for Aer Lingus J, this is the equivalent of a “standard award” on UA or “AAdvantage Award” on A. In short, there’s no saver award seats on that flight.
And I’m with @SBS on this one. I do appreciate the notice about wide open saver awards and have taken advantage of several of them thanks to you. But 60K/70K for a flight that is 5-7 hours (depending on BOS or JFK and winds) seems a bit steep no?

As someone mentioned above, 70k miles for a 6-hour flight on a mediocre airline? How is this good value?
If you need to be awake and rested for something first thing in the morning then it makes sense to get that lie-flat seat for the overnight eastbound flight. I flew NYCDUB twice last year and the first time I had a flight time of 5h10m. There was barely enough time to do the food and drink service and an hour or two of shuteye time. Premium Economy (UA 787-10) was the sweet spot for me for that route. No way I'm burning 140k R/T.
