UA is doing everything right.
AA is just stuck in the past (Dallas regional soccer moms and dads - plus frats) mentality. There is nothing hip and cool about Dallas, and it shows in the airline. If AA were run from NYC, you'd see a different airline....perhaps it's time to take their HQ back there.
Atlanta has a cool-ish vibe, and DL pulls from NYC. Chicago is awesome and has a global reputation and UA pulls from NYC. Dallas blah! - Talent and vision wise
DL - well, the fall from the top is hard...better than AA, but falling for sure. No one EVER stays on top, and that is the reality in this world.
DL not reliable for those who travel for business. After seeing what happened this week not sure how any self respecting corp travel manager can trust them.
For those who live in the basement, can’t get a job, and post 10k words a day praising DL across 10 travel blogs - it’s just peachy.
Definitely snazzier than the BA Club Suite cabins - however, I would expect inconsistent service levels and poorer quality food which is typical of US Carriers.

You would be correct as I flew the SFO - IAH route and the food and service were horrible. You would think that the FA's would have acted better. Also, WiFi was down on the flight 2 weeks after opening
Yep I can't see them in the system yet but they have publicly announced it - I don't think they have an exact date in December announced.

I think the most interesting item is the third route for this plane is SFO-ZRH. ZRH definitely punches above its weight given the size of the population, but still fascinating. Not Tokyo? Not Shanghai, Not Sydney, Not Hong Kong?
Makes absolutely no difference how nice the United plane is. It’ll be the same crews, food, beverages and subpar US3 airline service standards regardless. Why would any passenger in ANY cabin fly UA over Singapore Airlines?

I'm pleasantly surprised to find United's chosen route number for Singapore is UA01 (return UA02). Number 001 is usually an airlines most 'prestigious' route, and typically is assigned to a London or New York service. Nice to see a change from London and New York.
Hi Lucky, do you have a similar update on the status of the American Airlimes 78P? I haven’t been able to find anything definitive since the initial flights last year. Also wondering how the 77W retrofit timeline is coming along. Thanks!
Your view of the improvements United has made across the board are uninformed and biased. You also degrade the many fine men and women who work hard to deliver a quality customer experience.
Also many of us choose to support US companies out of loyalty as proud US citizens.
