One of the highlights of my day yesterday was a trip to the US Consulate in Hong Kong to get pages added to my passport. After a long walk from the ferry terminal we made it to 26 Garden Road, where the US Consulate is located. After going through a prison type gate we arrived…

A Chinese friend told me that it's a cultural thing. What seems like talking waaay too loud for us is normal for them.

I had my pages added in BTS last year. Very disappointing to have had to leave my camera (and cell phone) at the checkpoint.
