So any of these ingredients are easily found in Viet, Cambodian or Thai groceries - San Diego and Seattle have plenty... Enjoy - It was a challenge at first but an Asian husband makes you stretch, in my case
@ Geoff -- Yeah, in San Diego or Seattle I'd know right where to go, but Spokane is a bit more...limited. I've been to one "pan-Asian" market here, and it's the size of a small 7-11, but they have a decent assortment of things usually. It's mostly the produce that I expect to be tricky here this time of year.

Please plate everything as it would be in economy: on nasty aluminum trays and wonky plastic plates and with beverages in plastic cups. And be sure to act irritated as you serve it.
Mac and cheese topped with panic....now that sounds like something easy to find.

I wholly agree with the idea of making this a contest. OMAAT could pry into its collective Ft Knox miles depository and fly one lucky winner out to Spokane ("the Little Rock of the Pacific Northwest") for a two night stay at the plush Davenport Hotel. Winner would then get to cook a scrumptious dinner (in the manner brilliantly suggested by @Nicole L) with our beloved Ben and his sidekick Tiffany. Of course, it would need to be recorded and made available on Youtube so that we all may drool over the results.
I'll be rooting for Debit.

What a clever idea! And I can testify to the 20 perfectly-timed dishes ar Thanksgiving...I was very impressed! I honestly cannot wait for the video!
