Jokes aside about teaming up with other failed airlines for combined services, a sort of Axis of No Service to paraphrase a certain politician, it would seem to be a morality story about the difficulty of small, poor nations aspiring to vanity long haul airline capabilities. It would seem to make more sense for Suriname to engage more closely with the Caribbean countries and code-share with services from there to long haul destinations, or to offer connections on KLM flights from the Netherlands Antilles or Sint Maarten.

But KLM already flies to Suriname...as Lucky mentioned, they could just try and code-share with KLM, though they already do offer a code-share with TUI Netherlands, who also operates a direct AMS-PBM route...
