I sympathise with the flight attendant. Qatar is a wonderful airline. Its staff are very genuine. It is heart warming that such a romace could have happened. The silly man could have cast off the chains of matrimony and stepped up to a happy future.

This blog has been hitting new lows for a while now. When I first came here a couple years ago it was much more upbeat. This post obviously has nothing to do with points and travel that has any use to anyone here. I'm beginning to think that Ben actually likes to stir the pot, then sit back and watch people fight about things. No matter what happened wirh/to him, the poor Crew was most likely fired and packed off to her home country. Qatar Airways' image is more important than the rights and dignity of its crew.

A good lawyer will be able to strip him financially and if he fails to pay he would be looking at a further jail sentence
The young lady should join forces with the wife,and together act as one to make him pay till he is out on the streets
This sort of behaviour is needs to be dealt very firmly by the justice system

This wouldn't have ended the same way if reported in India or Qatar, glad the woman went through the Australian courts and thankfully she got some justice. I hope there have been no repercussions for her with family, in India or Qatar.
This bloody sing was absolutely disgusting, unhuman, coward, and absolutely untrustworthy for everyone. He should have been sentenced for the life time. I am fully on the flight attendants side. And my full support is with her.

It was reported on an Australian news website. Most court cases are available to the public which is probably where they got it from. Just click on the blue link in the article, this indicates when someone is getting the information from another source. Is this your first time reading an article on the internet? I'm not understanding how you do not know this?

But do you really think this kind of tabloid story is the right content for your blog? And you even wrote the full name of the person. I know this is common practice in many countries, but take a look at how any kind of offenders are handled in your father’s birth country. It’s definitely a much more civilized approach.

It is a subject connected to a field we obviously all follow and will hopefully be read by someone who may be in a similar position, and now has a chance to see the real world consequences, and hopefully handle it better than this person did.
