Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I can tell from your images of the lounge and of the terminal, the seating and decor of the terminal seams to be more spacious, comfortable and chic, then that of the lounge. It's that what the premium passengers deserve?

The lounge experience you had is very typical of all 3rd party lounges in Italy. Only exceptions are the most airline owned lounges including Alitalia (which has improved dramatically after the EY investment). Other than that for a country proud of it's food and drinks heritage, it's just horrible, from seating to even at times the staff.
Haha even spotted from your photo that they have such nice display of the wine bottles, but you have to drink them from plastic cups...what a joke.

1. Could you tell which airline had been marked out from the signage?

2. Am I seeing it right that the doors say "Close me"?

While it might've been underwhelming, this appears a definite step up from the Alitalia lounge next door. Only packaged carbs for food and limited drinks. None of those "lounge" chairs. It also got strangely hot in there. Good do know which is the better lounge for future visits.
