The welcome bonus is an added benefit of the card. I think people should consider about the card's perks and benefits rather than the welcome bonus. Most cards have restrictions for the welcome bonus as to stop people from applying for it just for the welcome bonus. Most card companies have limitations if you hold other related credit cards.
I love the concept of ranking cards based on their current welcome bonus, but half of the cards (5 of 10) on the list have minimum spend requirements of $15k or higher and 7 of 10 are business cards. That rules out 8 of 10 cards for me, and I don't qualify for the other two because of the 48 month restriction. Can we expand the list to include more options?
