I would of asked for 40k points but thats just me. Or stay there for a week and get good use out of it. I hate checking that late and since many flights arrive after midnight i've had good success checking extremely early say 1am ,2am no prob and getting charged only 1day. Done this many times with the conrad hkg your favorite hotel.
