For those of us into collecting points, one thing to always be on the lookout for is points expiration policies. Most programs won’t expire your points as long as you have consistent activity, though policies do vary.

Thankfully, most of these can be extended with minimum 'activity' effort, like a nominal points transfer, etc. (I'd say, the airlines are more strict, especially those that expire "after a certain amount of time regardless of activity.")
Accor have double dipping in place for Flying Blue and QR, so a revenue flight with those airlines will count as activity for extending ALL points.

Accor Live Limitless lets you donate (minimum 500 points giving the charity €10) that resets the expiration. Should be a great option if you need activity that posts quickly.
GHA Discovery has the toughest standard. Your point expiration is set at 12, 18, or 24 months after earning depending on status when earned (not after earned). There is nothing you can do to stop the clock. So, you can some points expiring X, some Y, etc. (But, given the design, use all D$ you can at the start of each stay.) They do have a donate option which doesn't extend expiration, but most will like that better than letting them expire.
How long do Bonvoy mileage transfers take to update the expiration date? It deducted the miles immediately, but my expiration date stayed the same...Was I Bonvoyed?
