The lounge is affiliated with Dragonpass, as well as TAV's own membership scheme, so it must be getting a fair few cardholders visiting in addition to the airline guests.
Please cheer up, Luis. You are not alone, amigo. Remember, First Class is just a state of mind… (also, it does get a better meal, so…)
How bad does a lounge have to be to get less than 3 stars on this site?
This is one of the worst I've seen, especially given the run-around they gave Ben on entry.
Ben’s rating methodology is a shambles. Ratings are always context-dependent and not hard nosed enough. Even with his experiences with Cairo airport security and immigration, he would give them at least 2.5 stars.
Ha! The fiasco regarding entry reminded me of my experience at a Wawsaw currency exchange office last year. Being pressed for time I arrived near 9am, and was duly let in the doors. The cashier told me I must wait 6 minutes before she could help, and should be seated to wait. (I was the only customer there).
So at 9am precisely I was greeted as if I had just that second walked in , and the transcation was promptly completed.
FYI, never change money on the street in Poland. The change offices all do an excellent rate. Best to avoid offices at the airports and major railway stations if you can.
