I wonder what kind of evolution we'll see on the upcoming 779. Aside from tech such as wireless charging, 4K OLED displays, I wonder what's left to improve! CTF, improved storage options and other creature comforts, etc.?
NH really needs to bring back first class to IAD. For me. I don't care if they make money or not. I want it back. I want it back now.

Only a pet would think the tiny shrimp is a meal.
Asians don't overfeed like most Americans.
That shrimp is probably part of a 8-10 course meal.
Don't expect ANA to retrofit the remaining 3, as they are some of the oldest in the fleet.
I expect them to be retired or turned into high density domestic people mover as the B777-9 enters the fleet
It’s a magical business class product. Huge fan of it on JFK-HND. Wish T7 was better (new terminal soon, thankfully).
That's encouraging at least ! So we can anticipate a much improved and personable inflight service with the US carriers ! ... Oh, wait, none of 'em have ordered the 777-9 . foiled again !
As a lowly non-rev who hardly ever even rides in a business cabin, I fail to see much physical distinction between NH's first & business hard products. Of course, this is exclusively based on the limited pix in this article, most certainly from personal experience (as stated earlier) ..
That looks similar to one of the courses on the Korean Air Business class flights, IAD to ICN. There are 5 courses and that would be the first course. Many tiny bite size items per course.
