Miss the Norwegian livery on those 787s. Norwegian had a soul (and was unmistakably recognizable), to me this one doesn't and generally feel cold-ish unmemorable. Although the NORSE logo looks good.

Respectfully disagree - while certainly recognizable, the Norwegian livery was really ugly. Norse livery is a significant improvement.

Presumably the crews will either do Oslo-London-New York (then a stopover), or one crew will do Oslo-London-Oslo, whilst other crews do the trans-Atlantic flights?

I think the crewing would be one crew does OSL-LGW-OSL, while a second crew deadheads OSL-LGW and then crews LGW-JFK same day. With a third crew operating JFK-LGW then deadheading same day on LGW-OSL.

It's about time someone make a meme for these New York - London headlines when you find out afterwards it's not JFK or LHR.

Not that EWR or LGW is that bad, LOL!!!!!!

Not that it was very beautiful, although I certainly wouldn't call it really ugly - just recognizable and had some kinda unique feel to it, I enjoyed seeing those planes. Norse one is feels really generic and unwelcoming/unmemorable to me.

What I miss more is the scale of Norwegian's longhaul operation. Norwegian at its peak was sending daily 787s from 6-7 different points to LAX/JFK/LGW and others. It will be a long time for Norse to achieve such a scale if/when they decide to do so. Of course, Norwegian's business model was shaky but their peak network was pretty great.

Couldn't agree more. Appears unsustainable unfortunately, even without COVID or the 787 & 737MAX problems they faced, but at the height of their might Norwegian's networks was just spectacular.

If their premium economy seats offer decent legroom and reclining pitch then this is a spectacular bargain. To get human seats for the price other airlines want for sardine seating is worth having.

It’s worth mentioning I booked a barebones fare to Oslo, and added a carry on bag later in the booking process. The total round trip (with an overhead cabin bag and personal) came out to $290 round trip, while full service carriers were offering $600-700+ for the same dates (without luggage either).
