Seem to remember Cebu Pacific weighing every passenger on our flight from MNL to Palawan a few years ago. 1 and only time I've flown them so not sure if it's standard......?

Flew with them a couple of weeks ago to and from London for a 2 week holiday in Uzbekistan, wasn't too bad (it was better than what I was expecting!). They did weigh our hand luggage at check-in the LHR-TAS flight, first time that's happened to me.

@Adam Its not typical of Cebu Pacific, except on that route, which is serviced by a smaller aircraft, which is probably more sensitive to weight issues.

It's about time that the Samoa Air concept is implemented by all airlines, for instance with a adjustable fuel surcharge. Then those, who "carry more" will pay more. I am not sure whether this is Uzbekistan's goal, but what they're doing now could be "testing the waters".

I flew HY twice last week domestically and will fly them internationally next week. Wonder if I'm going to get weighed. Didn't get weighed on either of the domestic flights (incl Il-114 prop flight)
