Upon getting to the airport we headed into the building, where there was immediately a ticket check and security screening. The security seemed somewhat lax and took all of two minutes. Once we were through security we proceeded to SQ check-in, where the Business line was just as long as the coach line.

Great report lucky! Did you take the FO up on his offer of coming up front at the end of the flight? 😉

By the way:
"ORD-YYZ, AC513, 2035-2118"

shouldn't this be YYZ-ORD? 😉

Thanks wijomas. 🙂 Originally I thought my connection would be pretty tight, so I didn't take them up on the offer.

Thanks for the correction, I've gone ahead and edited that.

A continually first-class TR, I have yet to try exec first over to Asia, so it's nice to see that it looks just as nice as the flight to LHR, but with enough time to sleep! The 777s are definitely my favourite AC ride. Glad to hear you had a great experience with AC, too!

Very refreshing to hear raves about a flight to/from Asia NOT on SQ. And to tell the truth, you're a more adventurous eater than I am. 🙂

Someone's less adventurous than I am?!?!? Is that even possible?

Thanks again for the comments guys, really appreciate them! 🙂

chefman, there aren't really any seats that stand out as better than others in ExecutiveFirst. They're all at the same angle, so I would suggest two seats next to each other, meaning a different row number but the same letter.

Sorry, unfortunately I don't really know of any. I'll be flying CX in a couple of weeks to HKG, so expect a trip report of that portion of the trip. 🙂

I just changed my return flight to NYC from TYO. Initially, we were supposed to come back with LH through FRA but found an alternative with AC through YYZ. Are the middle seats really divided by the partition wall or will we be 'together' with my wife? Customer service rep reserved us 3K with the one in the isle.

@ Robert -- I would just do seats behind one another at the window. Center section really is partitioned off.

So, seats G and K are not really next to each other?

@ Robert -- No, not really. There's quite a bit of distance between them so I'd do seats behind one another.
