I am utterly, UTTERLY disappointed that the theme doesn't extend into the cabin. If they did that I would totally switch ALL my flights to ANA.
Why wouldn't you want R2-D2 drink service? Don't you remember he can also serve drinks?

There are only four airlines have both Disneylands in their bases and are in tropical. Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest and Cathay Pacific. Among them,only CX has wide-body planes.

Amazing. The only better thing would be if they expanded this. can you imagine planes decked out as stormtroopers orC3PO, or maybe even Darth Vader? It'd be worth some extra effort to fly them. Any word on which route this will be flying?
Yes, this is awesome. And I want to fly it. Or, see it in person at least. Hopefully they fly it to Chicago as I see the ANA planes parked there all of the time. I also fly ANA on what is currently scheduled as a 777 late this fall. They did, however, warn me of potential equipment changes when I selected seats. So, now I'm hopeful 🙂
And, yes, we need to have them expand this. I think ANZ's All Blacks 777 is perhaps the sleakest looking plane out there. If they could do a Darth Vader themed plane that looks as badass as the All Blacks plane, that would be awesome.
The shape of an airplane also allows for another design that I think could look awesome. How about a Light Saber plane?

I think ANA should go all out and have a Darth Vader livery. They should play the Death Star/Darth Vader entry music when people are boarding. I can just visualize it on my mind.
And then, for counter-balance, they should have a narrow-body with Space Balls livery.
