Has anyone actually flown any of the airlines post-ban and written about what the new security screenings are like?

Egyptair is one of the most negligent, lackadaysical and unserious airlines in the world. It still has 2 unexplained crashes (one B767 out of JFK and one A320 out of CDG), which the Egyptian authorities blame on a plane defect for one (disputed b y the NTSB) and terrorism for the other (disputed by the French DGAC).
If they are being exempted from the ban, then the ban means nothing anymore.
