Swiss F had La Prairie for a long time, I thought they still had it but apparently that has been changed.
Does it really matter what the brand is? Really? To most people? There could be just about anything inside that container and 99.99% of people wouldn't know the difference. Do people really buy premium plane tickets based on what brand of soap is in the lavatory? Ohh... this feels soooo luxurious after passing my mushroom risotto into a chemical toilet. A premium toilet perhaps? Better really scrub around the nails after using that thin Surpass toilet paper.
I once posted on FlyerTalk in a trip report a photo of some foamed fish dish where all I did was take some store brand foaming handsoap and give it a good pump out onto a coaster and photograph it. Was a pretty good troll until I admitted it and it got deleted. Apparently it looked really really appetizing to those used to Michelin starred restaurants.
What is with the trolls in the comment sections being so deliberately unintelligent lately? At least I sincerely hope it's deliberate...
The people who pay cash money to fly in Swiss first class would almost certainly know the difference; and even if they didn't, the quality of the product would be apparent to them.
La Prairie is much more prestige brand and Swiss made. Not sure why they decided to change that. Soeder is not good. In first class they should offer - by definition - only the best products.
The Soeder products Swiss had introduced after Covid were a disaster. I wrote to LX numerous times to complain how much the face cream actually stinked, and was practically not usable.
LX told me that La Prairie had stopped supplying products for airlines, as they thought it was not high-end enough for them.
I guess Sisley will provide a better experience than this terrible Soeder crap.
