I've flown Amaszonas from La Paz to Rurrenabaque a few years back. Nice airline, my plane didn't even have a single FA. Good for her.
I have also flown Amazsonas and it was the worst ever flight experience and also very expensive. Were the only option from La Paz to Asuncion via VVI.
Hopefulle she will make this company better.
This crash was absolutely infuriating. Calling it pilot error wasn't enough. It was negligence - criminal negligence - this airline should have been grounded long before it happened. I honestly wish the pilots had survived to face the consequences. Massive congratulations to her, a lot of courage.

@H1, interesting read. I’m sure many readers would love to have a chance to buy AAirpass today... Given creative ways for people to earn various miles/ points, I would almost argue people do have options to obtain AAirpass-lite with many airlines (and not just stuck with AA). Obviously not with similar type of travel frequency as author’s father.
