I guess if you are a 12 years old - diminutive type , you could fit in one of those tight business class seats .
I know some airlines (e.g. Aeroflot, Transaero - back in the day) don't serve alcohol on domestic flights in economy, but to my knowledge Thai would be the only one (except entirely dry airlines of course) not serving alcohol in business class. Anyone?
Singapore Airlines doesn't serve alcohol also from KUL to SIN in business class
I’ve never seen a domestic TG flight from BKK-CEI-BKK at over 200 USD return, so I’m not sure if I believe your bit about it only being $50 more per leg to fly in biz.
Much of Northern and Central Thailand -- in particular the hill tribes -- practice slash-and-burn agriculture. The burn season is late winter and the air quality is worst in March and April. That accounts for the haze you saw when landing (and that presumably stayed with you for your visit).
Maybe if you’re talking about a fat 12-year-old American child.
Normal sized adults can easily fit in this seat, however, chubster.
Lucky, I'm often amazed that you always seem to be able to choose the best seat in the cabin, whether it's the throne seat, or your preferred seat further from the aisle with more windows, or further from the lavatory, etc. Have you ever asked someone on the plane to trade (or offered compensation) for one of these special seats, or do you pick specific flight times with these seats available, or are you just... Lucky? 🙂
