One of the best airport lounges in the United States will be reopening this week — yay!

Will Qantas have staff to reopen the lounge? Or will they have to get management to serve customers in the lounge.
Like how they need head office staff to work has baggage handlers in Australia.
So excited about this!
First class passengers on AA Flagship Transcon also get access. Another reason to upgrade to F on LAX-JFK
@AJ — this lounge is managed by Accor Hotels, if I’m not mistaken. One of them gave me a card last time.
I think AA Flagship Transcon only have access to the AA Flagship lounge, not to oneworld lounges - unless of course you have an international itinerary or oneworld Emerald status on an airline other than AA/AS. Super confusing rules but worth checking in advance.....
Lucky, is it confirmed that passengers traveling in three-class F domestic flights will (again) have access? If not, that is a significant downgrade, especially since LAX Flagship First Dining is not slated to reopen in the near term, if ever.
This access used to grant access. If it doesn't anymore, I recommend buying a refundable ticket from JFK to gain access. AA should be pushing for access (which I am sure would be granted if AA wants to pay for it), since they no longer have FF First dining at LAX.
FF Dining at LAX will not reopen. . . ever. Despite posted information that it will soon reopen, AA management has already decided to not reopen it. Cost cutting.
Qantas should have used the downtime to refresh the lounge's decor and layout (which is quite outdated considering the refreshes we have seen).
Eager to check it out. Flying AA from LAX to MEX. Same day on a different ticket I will be flying MEX to LHR on BA. Will I have access to Quantas lounge at LAX? One world emerald via AS.
Great news, I have one more international trip before I lose status.
Are you sure it doesn’t apply to 3 class trans cons AA? It wasn’t consistent, but J in a 3class transcon would sometimes get you in .
To confirm, as an AA emerald it just needs to be an Int’l itinerary, so something like LAX => DFW => GRU would qualify?
Super. I have late November Qantas First ticketed (160,000 Qantas miles) overnight before at H Hotel so plenty of time to enjoy the Lounge
First visit to Sydney 1st Lounge last month on Birthday RTW. Nice
I'm still unclear on how access really works to OW partner lounges in the USA. You say that any flight out of North America qualifies, but AA doesn't grant Flagship access to Colombia, Guyana, Ecuador, Peru, and Brasilia, so would this be an inconsistency? What about Mexico City? Is there official guidance on this?
Welcome back to my favorite lounge
Wonder if Beryl is still there
Wish LAX was 1/3 as good
"Those earning oneworld Emerald status through other oneworld airlines can use the lounge before any oneworld flight, even if it’s domestic"
Data point: I've had multiple lounge agents at the Qantas Buisness lounge refuse access for domestic flights based on having OneWorld Status in a foreign program. Your mileage may vary, particularly if you are trying to double dip and credit to American/Alaska but use the lounge on basis if a foreign program.
Attendant at one world business lounge today said they are opening tomorrow night.
I'm a BA Gold and have an LAX-SFO leg in AA First as part of a wider trip. There's an overnight layover at SFO before onward to London, all same ticket, but assuming no access to this lounge on the domestic leg...?
I have the same question as many:
If I’m Emerald through AA and flying AA flagship LAX to LHR, do I get access? I’m going to swing by and at least ask! My flight departs from terminal 4 which I figure they are trying to funnel us to the Flagship lounge instead.
